FLAMENCOLÍA DANCE ACADEMY

NEW CLASSES STARTING JANUARY 2024!

Learn the passionate art of flamenco dance from one of Canada’s most prolific flamenco dancers, Lia Grainger, in a warm and welcoming environment. Students will learn the palmas (hand claps), rhythms, movements, marking steps, footwork and palos (styles) of flamenco dance. Lia strongly believes that flamenco is an art form that belongs to everyone, and that every student has a story to tell and their own unique strengths to express. Through, exercises, choreography, and improvisation, Lia seeks to give students the skills and knowledge to express their individuality through this powerful and inclusive art form.
